Secondary Education

A blue pixelated book icon with the word 'INSTRUCTION' below. At Morgan County Schools, our approach to secondary education is rooted in a simple but powerful belief: Every Student Matters; Every Moment Counts. This guiding principle shapes every decision we make, every classroom we support, and every opportunity we create for students in grades 6–12.

We believe that all students deserve access to a high-quality education that prepares them for success in college, career, and life. Our schools are committed to providing rigorous academic instruction, meaningful relationships, and a wide range of opportunities that allow students to discover their strengths and pursue their goals. From advanced academic pathways and Career Technical Education programs to leadership development and extracurricular involvement, we strive to ensure that each student’s experience is both challenging and rewarding.

Our work is grounded in a commitment to strong Tier I instruction, data-informed decision making, and a focus on the whole child. We recognize that academic success and student well-being go hand in hand. Through intentional support systems and partnerships, we work to ensure that every student is equipped not only to achieve academically, but also to grow socially and emotionally.

As Director of Secondary Education and Mental Health, I am honored to serve alongside a dedicated team of educators, counselors, and administrators who are committed to excellence. Together, we are focused on building schools where students feel supported, challenged, and inspired every day.

We are proud of the work taking place across Morgan County Schools and look forward to continuing to serve our students, families, and community with purpose and integrity.
