Student Meals During School Closing Due to COVID-19
Morgan County Schools plans to resume free Grab-n-Go meal pick-ups, starting Wednesday, May 6.
The program will follow the pattern in place before Governor Ivey’s stay-at-home order forced us to curtail the pick-ups. We know this was a huge help to our students and their families, and we’re thankful we’ll be able to continue helping feed them through the remainder of the school year.
The initial curbside pick-up is Wednesday May 6 and will continue each Wednesday through May 20. That will wrap up our meals program for the school year. For these remaining 3 weeks, Pizza Hut will be supplying a slice of fresh, hot pizza for each meal package. We thank Pizza Hut for their commitment to helping feed children in our communities.
That means students’ families can pick up the meals from 10:00am until noon at these location sites:
Union Hill School
Lacey's Spring School
West Morgan Elementary
Morgan County Schools wants to thank our Child Nutrition Program employees, our school resource officers with the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office and Priceville Foodland for their support and assistance with this program.
