Our district board approved adding a new CTE program - Teaching and Training - that will be taught at MCS Tech Park beginning in the 2023-2024 school year.
Q3 report cards are now availalble in the parent and student portal.
Click on Student Reports. Then, select the report and submit.
Any students who signed up for Tech Park on their PHS class registration form need to submit the MCS Tech Park form to select their program. The form was emailed to all 9th-11th grade students on March 13th, but the link is also posted below.

Edge Student Leadership is open to all 10th and 11th grade students in Morgan County. (Current 9th and 10th grade students are eligible to apply.) The program was created to expose students to leadership opportunities in a creative and challenging manner, providing the students with the tools necessary to develop individual leadership skills. The program also encourages students to be a positive influence in their schools and to serve in the community. A commitment by the student and school administrators of one day a month for eight months is required, beginning in August, 2023.

The above link accesses the main application. While there is a place to click and access the recommendation form from the application, the second link below takes you there directly. This would be the link you would send to the persons giving the reference.
There are three required components to the Application: (1) the Application (2) current report card and (3) two references. All three components must be received by the deadline or the application is invalid. The deadline for Applications is Friday, April 14th.
Calhoun's dual enrollment director will be on campus from 8:30-11:30 a.m. on Friday, March 24th, to collect dual enrollment paperwork for the Summer 2023 and Fall 2023 terms and meet with any students who have questions.
A week or so prior to that date, we will begin the process of completing the steps to dual enroll, including completion of paperwork.

Parents, we have enjoyed serving all of our students breakfast and lunch at no-cost the past two years, but current guidance from USDA does not allow us to serve free meals to all students in the 2022-2023 School Year.
It is encouraged that you fill out our online free and reduced meal application for your family. Any free or reduced meal application completed in the 2021-2022 school year and is given an eligibility of free or reduced will carry over into the 2022-2023 School Year for the first 30 days of school or until a new application is processed (whichever occurs first).
