  1. Take the Online Assessment Test
    Click the link below to access the test. Aim for a score of 85 or above to qualify.                               substitute assessment test

  2. Email Your Results
    After completing the test, please email Loretta Privett at llprivett@morgank12.org

  3. Background Directions for Substitutes and Employees

    This step will need to be completed before proceeding to the next step.  Below are the AIM instructions, AIM video, and Fieldprint video, which provide guidance on completing the required background clearance for substitute teaching.

  4. Receive Your Substitute Packet 
    After your background results are complete and approved, we will send you a substitute packet containing all the instructions you need to begin.  You can bring a money order made out to the Alabama State Department of Education with your substitute application or you can pay online at this link.  If you pay online, you will need include a copy of your receipt.

 

🌟 Renew Substitute License🌟

If you are a substitute teacher with an expiring license, please use the link below to complete the renewal form. You will need to submit the form to the Central Office along with a copy of your current driver's license.  The substitute license fee can be paid online at this link, or you can include a money order made out to the Alabama State Department of Education with your application.
