I grew up in Oil City, PA. However, I moved to Alabama from southeastern Ohio. I received both my Bachelor's and Masters Degrees from the University of Rio Grande in Rio Grande, Ohio. I taught special education classes in reading and math at Gallipolis City Schools in Ohio for 10 years before moving to Alabama. I have been with Morgan County Schools since 2015, working at Brewer High School for five years in special education, one year at Union Hill Elementary/Middle school teaching 7th and 8th grade math, and am starting my 2nd year with Priceville High School in special education. I am a collaborative teacher and also teach a special education transition class geared toward long-range planning to include services to meet goals for a student’s life after high school. The faculty and staff at PHS are some of the best; striving to help students succeed and are committed to helping them achieve their goals. I love teaching students and also equipping teachers with the tools needed to reach all students in their classroom.
I am a mother of three children and seven grandchildren. I love spending time with my family, reading, gardening, and traveling the world.
