Any student wanting to participate in remote learning during the 2021-2022 school year, must fill out an application and get approval from Mr. Gullion. The Morgan County Schools Virtual Academy will be run through Sparkman School. In order to be a candidate for virtual school, you must turn in a completed application to Mr. Gullion by April 30th. You may get an application from the front office at PES or download one from our website. Students MUST meet ALL of the following standards to be considered for virtual learning.
-Students must possess an overall B average
-Students must be in good standing
-Students must have access to the internet/WiFi
-All students will be required to participate in local and state assessments, for example, formative assessments, ACAP, ACT, etc.
-Parents must provide transportation for required events
-Students receiving Special Education services will require an IEP team decision to be admitted into the virtual program
-Students receiving Tier II and Tier III services are not eligible to apply
-Students are not eligible to apply if state testing requirements were not met in the 2020-2021 school year
-School Administrator approval and signature is required
-ATTEND A REQUIRED MEETING ON MAY 26, 1:00 p.m. AT SPARKMAN SCHOOL
