My name is Amy Cater and I am so excited to be your teacher. This is my 15th year teaching in Alabama. I taught 12 years in Lawrence County and this is my 3rd year in Morgan County. I graduated from Furman University in 1991 with my MS and BS in Chemistry. My husband and I live in Decatur. We have two daughters, Emily and Kathleen who are both married and teaching in Lawrence County. We have one granddaughter, Ruby Jane. My "third child" is our Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Maddie.
