WMMS Spelling Bee 2021-22
Congratulations to Tyra Jackson (8th grade) for winning the WMMS Spelling Bee and Fisher Terry (7th grade) who placed as the Alternate Champion. The winning word was “Quasimodo.” Tyra will represent our school in the Local Spelling Bee at the beginning of 2022. Congratulations Tyra!!

Ethan Prater
Ethan was nominated twice for student of the month.
One teacher said, “Ethan shows perseverance in class through his eagerness to learn and consistent effort. He is a positive influence to others and encourages them to not give up and continue striving to reach their goals. Even in athletics, he pushes himself to be the best he can be.”
The other teacher said, “His perseverance is evident in the fact that if he doesn't score as well on an assignment as he thought he should he studies even harder for the next assignment.”
