As of May 2010 the Morgan County School system has a student population of 7,741 in 18 schools with varied grade configurations.  Of this student population, 51% are males and 49% are females.  The racial make up of students in the system is 91.4% white, 2.8% African-American, 5.4% Hispanic, .2% Asian, and 0.7% Native American.

 The Morgan County School system is proud to have 100% of its certified staff highly qualified.

Morgan County School System

The Morgan County School System consists of 18 schools and an alternative school, The Morgan County Learning Center.  Five high schools, five middle schools, and 8 elementary schools are located at a variety of communities throughout Morgan County. 

Morgan County's Central Office Campus is located at 1325 Point Mallard Parkway, Decatur, Alabama 35601.

Driving Directions

From Huntsville take Hwy 565 West to I65.  Take I65 South to the Priceville/Decatur Exit (#334).  Exit west toward Priceville on Hwy 67.  Hwy 67 turns into Point Mallard Parkway.  Morgan County Board of Education is on the left across from the firestation. Look for a two story house.

 From Cullman take I65 North to the Priceville/Decatur Exit (#334)  Exit west toward Priceville on Hwy 67.  Hwy 67 turns into Point Mallard Parkway.  Morgan County Board of Education is on the left across from the firestation.  Look for a two story house.

From Lawrence County take Hwy 24 East to Hwy 67/Beltline Road.  Continue East through the intersection of Beltline and Hwy 31.  The Morgan County Board of Education will be 1/2 mile on the right across from the firestation.  Look for a two story house.
